Angelo Negro e Figli in Serralunga

The Langhe is a buzzing hive of activity in the wine sector.

The highly-acclaimed historical Angelo Negro e Figli estate has arrived in Serralunga, in the Barolo zone, purchasing the cellar of Giovanni Rosso, another prestigious local producer.

“We have one hectare of Barolo and we used to rent part of Rosso’s cellar for production”, explains the Negro family to Wine News. “Then he finished his new cellar and we bought the old one. We’re going to make our Barolo and sparkling wines here. These are very important to the estate, which has always worked exclusively with native grape varieties”.
Negro cultivates a total of 64 hectares, 60 of which are estate-owned.
