Slow Wine 2017: Roero San Giorgio Riserva 2013

Angelo Negro e Figli has received an excellent result in the 2017 edition of the Slow Wine guide.
First and foremost, the “SLOW WINE” mention for ROERO SAN GIORGIO RISERVA 2013:

“It has a very characteristic bouquet, with clear scents of wild strawberries and violet. The tannin isn’t tight but relaxed, with a deep and lingering finish. Perfect use of wood.”

Subsequently, all the reds are defined by the guide as “a good range”: Roero Sudisfa Ris. 2013 (“fresh and young, and very fruit forward”), Roero Prachiosso 2013 (with an “appealing drinkability”), Barbaresco Basarin 2013 (with “intriguing floral accompaniment and a convincing drinkability”.)
