The finest expression of Barbera, made only in excellent vintages with grapes grown from an old vine stock dating back 90 years.
An extremely enjoyable wine which releases interesting scents of blackberries, plum and cherry.

VINIFICATION

Maceration: traditional, in stainless steel tanks for 15-18 days with 2 délestage
Maturation: 16 months
Preservation and endurance: bottle in horizontal position, more than 10 years

SENSORY PROFILE

Compact red color, almost impenetrable. Aroma of blackberry and cherry. Warm in the mouth, it reminds ripe fruits and plum jam. The aftertaste is full and spicy.
